Frequently asked questions
How much does it cost to ship a car and what affects the price?
It depends on distance, vehicle type, season, and transport method (open or enclosed). Average cost is $500–$1,500 with no hidden fees.
How long does car shipping take?
Short routes usually take 1–2 days, and most other trips take 3–5 days. We always provide an estimated delivery window.
Is my car insured during transport?
Yes. Every shipment is fully insured under our DOT and MC authority.
What types of vehicles and clients do you serve?
We work with private customers, dealerships, auctions, tow yards, ports, and shipping companies.
Why should I trust WheelDeal Transport over others?
The owner started as a driver, then opened his own company, gained experience, and now knows this business from every side — as a driver, an owner, a dispatcher, and a broker.
Do I need to pay a deposit and what payment methods do you accept?
We accept Zelle, credit cards, cash, and more. Everything except PayPal — working with them is harder than flying to the moon.
Can I place personal items inside the car?
Yes, some items that aren’t too heavy and fit inside the car are fine at no extra charge. Larger or heavier items that take trailer space can be arranged for an additional fee.
What’s the difference between open and enclosed transport?
Open transport is standard, faster, and more affordable. Enclosed transport offers extra protection, perfect for luxury, exotic, or collector cars.
What happens if my car is delayed or something goes wrong?
We keep you informed of any delays, and insurance covers all incidents. You’ll never be left unprotected.
Can I ship my car with a full tank of gas and a fridge full of snacks?
We recommend leaving only about a quarter tank of gas for safety😉 Snacks are optional, but keep in mind the driver might get tempted. 🍫🚗
